Why Brooklyn Law School

Finally, when it comes to safety, the school says Brooklyn Heights is a „densely populated neighborhood“ that „can walk safely day or night.“ The school continues: „There is 24/7 security in the main law school building at 250 Joralemon Street and One Boerum Place. Our largest student residence, Feil Hall, is also supported by 24-hour security. To further enhance security, you need to have your Brooklyn ID handy to enter these buildings. Finally, it`s important to address all the essential questions in your transcript with a short addendum. The school`s website explains: Brooklyn Law School`s academic and administrative buildings and main dormitory are located in downtown Brooklyn, close to many federal and state courts, as well as corporate and public interest law firms. Brooklyn Law School`s main academic building, located at 250 Joralemon Street, houses classrooms, faculty offices, student magazines, a conference center, a dining room, and a four-story 586,000-volume legal library. The nearby office building at 111 Livingston Street houses numerous law school clinics, a legal writing centre and law school administrative offices. The school also offers two different summer programs for students in Bologna, Italy and Beijing, China. By attending the University of Bologna or the Chinese University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), students can gain first-hand experience of international law. The Beijing program lasts two weeks and students can choose between two weeks and three weeks for the Bologna program. To learn more about these programs, click here.

Given the current economy, BLS is suffering, but so are all the other schools. I think Brooklyn`s ranking matches that of schools of similar rank. According to the former BLS graduates I spoke to, the internship was much better in good years. For now, the ranking in New York could be better, and hopefully the school will continue to aggressively market and court employers. I don`t know many people who leave the New York area, but those who usually stay in the Northeast. Many candidates worry about having „pass/fail courses“ on their transcripts. The school`s website explains how they view these courses: Brooklyn Law School`s exchange program with University College Cork (UCC) gives two Brooklyn Law School students the opportunity each semester to study at UCC, a college founded in 1845 with a law school that is the university`s largest department.

Two students from Cork spend an academic year at the Faculty of Law. Students at Brooklyn Law School have the opportunity to learn many legal topics from an Irish legal perspective, as well as many topics from an international and comparative perspective. There are a number of students who enter and leave Brooklyn Law each year. The school`s latest ABA report notes that 27 students dropped out and 20 students entered. The school talks at length about the different facets of joining Brooklyn Law as a transfer student: As with most other law schools, there are many opportunities for BLS students to get involved on campus. For example, students can join the Art Law Association (ALA), the Eastern European Law Students` Association (EELSA) and even the Yoga Club. A current student writes: This confirms the general mentality that academic letters are most useful for admission to law school. The school recommends using LSAC`s Letter of Recommendation service to send your letters, but will also accept them from the applicant or letter writers. If you have „important new information“ to offer and would like to send additional letters of recommendation to the school after your application, you can send the letters directly.
